Now most of us grew up wanting Nikes and Jordans. Jordans and converse were the most popular shoes growing up and was a form of status. I remember in my middle school years when there were the "rich kids" who always walked in with the new Jordans and were also considered to be the "cool kids". In High School I remember monday mornings when all the kids with the new Jordans that had released over the weekend stood in the middle of the hallways together with the same shoes on and admiring them while also being admired by others like me. I finally got a job and was able to buy as many shoes as I wanted because my African parents in the day didn't believe in spending $100+ dollars on shoes.

Before that it was shoes from Payless or the Roshe Runs for Christmas. I worked hard enough to the point where I have around 50 shoes myself but that's a story for a different day. As cool as Jordans are I think I have outgrown them. My fashion sense and love for style has greatly improved to the point where I take pride more in my Yeezys and Chelsea Boots. Adidas and Yeezy have done a fantastic job of pushing the boundaries and coming up with ideas and designs other brands can never think of. I have around 20 pairs of Yeezys and what draws me to them is the creativity and craziness of them. No matter what people say, they are very comfortable and actually look good to an individual obsessed with style and fashion like me. Adidas came out with the Ozelia this past summer and it is a shoe I think everyone should be paying attention to.

The design is reminiscent of the Yeezy 700 and its futuristic look. So far they came out with some interesting colorways that are sure to break necks. I came across it watching videos on Youtube and quickly checked it out. I quickly grabbed my credit card and bought a pair on the spot because the cherry on top is the price. The shoes retail for only $100 and In some stores are on sale right now for $80 which is an absolute steal. The shoe uses a form of technology called Adiprene which makes it very comfortable and similar to boost. This technology was first used in the first Kobe Bryant sneaker, the Adidas Crazy 8. Yes, before the Nike Kobes, he was with Adidas his first couple years.

That's a fact you probably didn't know. Adiprene is also included in the Yeezy 500, one of my favorite shoes of all time. This shoe is for people who are interested in Yeezys and may not want to pay the crazy prices. This is a perfect alternative and some say may even be better. But that's for you to judge. Check out the shoe and the different colorways. I will post links of some sites who have them for great prices and the different colorways. A shoe between $80-100 that looks that good? You can't beat it.
